Italian director Andrea Pallaoro to attend Fajr Int’l Film Fest

Italian award-winning director Andrea Pallaoro is to attend the Fajr Int'l Film Festival in Iran.

Italian award-winning director Andrea Pallaoro, best known for his movie 'Hannah', has been set to attend the upcoming edition of the Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF) in Iran.

Pallaoro will hold a workshop for those interested in filmmaking on the sidelines of the 37th Fajr International Film Festival.

Pallaoro, who is also a screenwriter, will present his approach to filmmaking, from storytelling to editing, in the workshop.

Pallaoro’s 'Hannah' has attended several international festivals and brought Charlotte Rampling Best Actress award for her role in the movie at the 74th Venice Film Festival in Italy.

Headed by Iranian filmmaker Reza Mirkarimi, the 37th Fajr International Film Festival will be held in the capital, Tehran, on April 18-26, 2019.

A national version of the Fajr Film Festival (FFF) kicked off on January 30 and wrapped up on February 11. Since its establishment in 1982, the FFF and the FIFF have played vital roles in the development of Iranian Cinema.
